Work Should Be Fun

Say it with style!

I know I just posted a bunch of videos of Scrabble tile pendants, but I've been at it again. I just couldn't keep this one all to myself. I don't know how the image sequence is determined, but this one is very clever - if I do say so myself.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

If I were on stage right now I'd be giving a big shout out to all my friends who left such amazing feedback on my videos and on Beaded Adornment's products. You're all awesome!
There's another shout out going to my daughter Zoe who has been hard at work creating her river rock necklaces. After selling out of her original inventory, she's been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and has a pretty lofty goal: earning enough money for her own laptop.

Zoe has reinvested all of her earnings into supplies and is equipped to mass produce her rock necklaces. She's also expanded her line to include river rock magnets which will be sold in sets. Seeing Zoe's success, big sister Sierra has jumped on board and created the first set.
Please help support my hard working girls by visiting my Etsy shop:

When it Rains it Pours: Grab Me a Pair of Hip Waders

Someone grab me a pair of hip waders, because when it rains it pours. The creative juices are overflowing around here!

Not sure what it is about starting a new calendar that gets the creativity going, but we'll be riding the wave as far as it takes us. The best thing about the creative process for us has been taking a good hard look at our inventory and deciding that whatever inventory has been with us for a while needs to move out to make room for newer, fresher designs. Stay tuned there are a lot of exciting pieces in the works.

Beaded Adornment will no longer carry children's jewelry. We're really sad about losing our children's line. With government regulations on children's products becoming so strict, it makes very difficult for us to offer these products and perform the regulatory testing which can run about $4000 per product. We will, however, continue to offer products to our teenaged customers.

We're also saying goodbye to our threader earrings, shell necklaces and copper bracelets. Our customers that have been with us since day one are probably gasping because our threaders and shell necklaces have been with us since our very first jewelry shows and have been very popular.

Sure we're sad to see these lines go, but thrilled to be able to offer our customers some awesome deals in the coming weeks.

Beaded Adornment's shell jewelry, threader earrings and copper bracelets will be offered at deep discount prices. So, check our sites often and take advantage of the savings!

Happy 2009!

With a new year, comes excitement and hope for what the next 12 months have in store. We've been busy planning new product lines, great sales and making Beaded Adornment the best it can be in 2009 and years to come.

One of our newest product that we're very proud of is our allergy awareness jewelry. Originally designed to help the daughter of our very own Beaded Adornment founder subtly remind people of her allergy but remain trendy at the same time.

"Life in our home is all about balancing safety with normalcy, that's why these pendants were created," says Helena Zappolino-Feser, "Half the battle with a peanut allergy is raising awareness and asking others to kindly help keep your loved one safe."

We will be donating 15% of the sale of each pendant to http://www.peanutallergy.com/. The site provides free support, information, and resources to peanut allergic people and the general public. In true Beaded Adornment fashion, we will be offering customization of allergy pendants featuring the allergy of your choice.

In addition to our jewelry look for more articles and tutorials from Helena. She's already been featured as an expert author with http://www.ezinearticles.com/ and www.home-jewelry-business-success-tips.com/.
